I’m Heather, the stylist behind Heather Link Beauty and the owner of Blendology Studio in Naperville, Illinois. I specialize in dimensional blonding, lived-in color, and customized hair extensions for women who want fuller, healthier-looking hair that fits their lifestyle.
Many of my clients come to me feeling frustrated by fine or thinning hair, extensions that never quite blended, blonde that feels too brassy, or color that requires more maintenance than they realistically have time for.
My goal is to move you beyond that frustration with a personalized plan created around your hair, your lifestyle, and how you want to feel.
Your appointment should be more than a quick visit and a great first result. I want you to feel heard, cared for, and completely comfortable throughout the process. We’ll talk about what’s working, what isn’t, and what you would love to change. From there, I’ll create a long-term plan to keep your hair looking fresh, healthy, and like you, only better.
With more than 17 years in the beauty industry, I’ve built my career around customized transformations and thoughtful client care. I’m a licensed cosmetologist, salon owner, master extensionist, and blonding specialist with advanced training in Invisible Bead Extensions, Keratin Fusion, Nano Tape, V-Light, and the Integrated Mesh Method. This allows me to recommend the extension method that makes the most sense for your hair instead of trying to make one method work for everyone.
I also offer custom airbrush tanning for a natural-looking glow customized to complement your skin tone.
What matters most to me isn’t simply completing a service. It’s helping you feel more confident when you look in the mirror while making your beauty routine feel easier between appointments.

Get to know me outside the salon...
Beyond the salon, my most important roles are being a wife and mom. Family comes first, and the time we spend together means more to me than ever.
This season of life has reminded me that life is too short to keep waiting for the perfect time. Take the vacation, appreciate the everyday moments, go with the flow, and trust that most things are figureoutable. I’m learning to be more intentional about where I put my time and energy, both personally and professionally.
For me, the best parts of life are often the simplest: traveling with my family, sitting on our patio watching the sunset, enjoying a really good cup of coffee, or being home with our very full house of fur babies. We have Bella, our Malshi; Luna and Oreo, our two kitties; and Winnie, our newest Yorkie. Winnie occasionally joins me at Blendology as our salon pup in training, so you may even get to meet her.
I may live in the suburbs now, but I’ll always be a Chicago city girl at heart. I’m driven, honest, and straightforward, but also deeply caring. I value real relationships and want you to feel like you can be yourself around me. Whether you want to catch up like old friends or quietly relax during your appointment, your time in my chair is yours to enjoy however you need it that day.
